About the UKNexa desk
An independent editorial company covering UK Gambling Commission licensed casino brands. We are not an operator. Nothing can be wagered here and we hold no customer funds.
Who we are
UKNexa is an independent editorial desk based at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. The desk was established in 2026.
We exist because the gap between what a gambling brand says about itself and what a customer actually experiences is wider than it should be. Withdrawal timings get advertised as ranges that only describe the fastest case. Support hours get quoted without any indication of how long a Saturday evening queue really is. Licence badges get displayed as images that anyone could copy. Our job is to close that gap with evidence a reader can check.
What we are not
We are a publisher, not a gambling operator. We do not hold a Gambling Commission licence because we do not need one: we accept no deposits, we hold no customer funds, we offer no wagering of any kind, and no transaction takes place on this website. When you follow a link from here you leave our property and enter the operator's, at which point their terms, their privacy policy and their regulatory obligations apply — not ours.
We also do not cover unlicensed operators. If a brand does not appear on the UK Gambling Commission public register, it does not appear here, regardless of what it might be willing to pay.
Our methodology
Every brand goes through the same six-stage process, and no brand is exempt from any part of it.
1 — Register verification
We locate the operator on the Commission's public register, record the account number and note the status and the date we checked. That number and a direct link to the entry appear on the review page. We re-check every published entry on a rolling 90-day cycle. If a status changes, we flag it at the top of the page before we change anything else.
2 — A real, self-funded account
A reviewer registers as an ordinary customer, using their own identity documents and their own money. We decline press accounts, comped balances, VIP handling and anything else that would give our reviewer a route no reader could take. If our experience is not reproducible by you, it is not worth publishing.
3 — Withdrawal testing
We request multiple withdrawals across different methods and different days, and we measure elapsed time to funds actually arriving — not the time to a status label changing to "processing". Both the average and the worst case are published, because the worst case is the one that ruins someone's week.
4 — Support measurement
Contacts are deliberately spread across weekday mornings, weekday evenings and weekend peaks. We time every response and we ask at least one question with a genuinely difficult answer — typically about wagering contribution rates — to test whether agents are accurate as well as fast.
5 — Safer-gambling audit
We count how many taps it takes to reach a deposit limit from the account menu, apply a real cool-off, and check whether limits take effect immediately or only from the following day. We watch for retention friction on the way out and for marketing email in the days that follow. Making it hard to leave costs marks.
6 — Publication and re-check
Reviews are published with the date they were compiled. Performance figures are re-tested quarterly. No operator sees a draft, no operator is offered a right of reply before publication, and no operator has editorial input of any kind.
How the scoring works
Each brand is scored out of ten across six criteria: licensing and transparency, withdrawal speed, catalogue depth, customer support, safer-gambling tooling and mobile experience. The overall figure is the weighted result of those six, with licensing and safer-gambling tooling carrying the heaviest weights. It is not an editor's overall impression rounded to one decimal place.
Editorial independence
Some outbound links on this website are commercial affiliate links, and we say so on every page that carries one. That relationship pays for the testing, the hosting and the writing. It does not buy a score, a ranking, a position or a favourable sentence, and no operator has ever been offered any of those. Where a brand we have a commercial relationship with performs badly, we publish that it performed badly — the drawbacks columns on our review pages are not decorative. The full arrangement is set out on our Disclosure page.
Corrections policy
We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If you believe something on this website is inaccurate, email editorial@uknexa.co.uk or use the contact form with the page URL and what you believe is incorrect. We aim to respond within 2 working days. Where we make a factual correction, we publish a note on the page saying what changed and when. We do not silently edit and move on.
Who this website is for
Adults aged 18 or over who are located in Great Britain. We do not market to anyone under 18, we do not target vulnerable readers, and we do not present gambling as a way to make money, solve a financial problem or achieve anything other than paid entertainment carrying a real risk of loss. If gambling has stopped being a free choice for you, our Responsible Gaming page lists free, confidential support — start there rather than with a review.
