Disclosure

How this website is funded, what our commercial relationships are, and the line they are not allowed to cross.

Version 1.0 · Effective 1 February 2026 · Last updated 4 August 2026

The short version

Some outbound links on this website are commercial affiliate links. If you follow one, register an account and meet the partner's qualifying conditions, we may be paid a commission by that operator. It never costs you anything extra, and it has never bought — and is not for sale as — a score, a ranking or a favourable sentence.

Why we are telling you this

Anyone reading a review is entitled to know whether the reviewer stands to gain from the recommendation. We take the view that burying that in a footnote is a way of technically disclosing while practically hiding. So we disclose in three places: in the footer of every page, next to every commercial button, and in full here.

How affiliate marketing works

We hold commercial agreements with certain licensed operators. Links to them carry a parameter that identifies UKNexa as the referring publisher. If you follow one and go on to register an account, the operator attributes that registration to us, and where their qualifying conditions are met they pay us a commission.

Two things follow from this, and both are worth stating plainly:

  • You never pay more. The commission is paid by the operator out of its marketing budget. Your terms, odds, bonus eligibility and withdrawal timings are identical whether you arrive through us or by typing the address directly.
  • We receive no personal data back. We are told in aggregate that a referral converted. We are not told who you are, what you deposited, what you staked or what you lost — and we do not want to be.

What commercial relationships do not buy

This is the part that matters, so it is explicit:

  • Not a score. Scores come from the six-criterion methodology on our About page, applied identically to every brand.
  • Not a ranking. Ordering is by score. No brand has ever been offered a higher position and none has been given one.
  • Not editorial input. No operator sees a draft before publication, no operator has a right of reply built into our process, and no operator can require a change to a published review other than by demonstrating a factual error.
  • Not suppression of criticism. Every review carries a drawbacks column. A five-working-day card withdrawal and a fourteen-minute weekend support queue both appear in reviews of brands we have commercial relationships with, because they are true.
  • Not coverage at all. We only review operators holding a current UK Gambling Commission licence. No commercial arrangement can put an unlicensed operator on this website.

How we mark commercial links

Every commercial link on this website carries all of the following:

  • the visible marker "Ad · 18+ · T&Cs apply · begambleaware.org" adjacent to the button;
  • the HTML attributes rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which declare the relationship to search engines and browsers;
  • target="_blank", so you can see you are being taken to a different website.

Where a link is not commercial — the Gambling Commission register, BeGambleAware, GamStop, Gamblers Anonymous, the ICO — it carries no such marker and we earn nothing from it. We have never accepted and will never accept payment in connection with a safer-gambling referral.

Current commercial relationships

As at the date above, we hold affiliate agreements with the following brands reviewed on this website:

BrandRelationshipOur published scoreLicence
Betano Affiliate agreement — commission on qualifying registrations 8.7 / 10 UKGC 39335
Ejjabet Affiliate agreement — commission on qualifying registrations 8.3 / 10 UKGC 39335

We update this table whenever a relationship starts or ends. If a relationship ends, the review stays published — we do not delete coverage because it stopped paying.

Advertising standards

Our marketing is written to comply with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (CAP Code), including section 16 on gambling, and with the Gambling Commission's guidance on socially responsible marketing. In practice that means we do not suggest gambling is a solution to financial trouble, a route to social or sexual success, a demonstration of skill, or anything other than paid entertainment carrying a genuine risk of loss. We do not target under-18s or anyone who appears vulnerable, and we do not use imagery or language likely to appeal to children.

Trade marks

Brand names and logos belonging to the operators reviewed here remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and editorial purposes. Their presence does not imply that we are affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or acting as an agent for those owners beyond the affiliate relationships disclosed above.

Holding us to this

If you believe something on this website reads as if it were written for an advertiser rather than a reader, we want to hear it. Email editorial@uknexa.co.uk with the page URL and what struck you. We reply within 2 working days, and where the criticism lands we change the page and say that we changed it.
